The copper wire woven chain with thick woven ends was used as money. It is a hollow rope made with four strands of copper wire and was used in Sumbawa and Sumba islands for marriage gifts or in ratification of a contract, though not in ordinary exchanges. It, along with mamuli and horses, was a traditional component of the bride price. The piece is made of copper. 1/2 diameter and 68 long
