SIAM GAMBLING TOKENS

IN the late 1800s these porcelain tokens were used in the gambling houses in Siam (Thailand). Each gambling house had its own designs which were changed frequently. Collectors collect tokens by shape, animals on the token, or color. Thousands of different pieces are known to exist. At present there are many fake tokens for sale on the internet. Generally the fake tokens are poorly made with poor painting. Some fakes have no shiney surface on one side of the token.  Mine are all genuine and came out of Thailand in the 1960s.
